I also got two Slooow Fields in that go I believe. Using this guide, my high score of plorts collected in a single go is 95 because I got lucky and got the Slooow Field very early on in that go so I was able to get a lot of plorts using this tactic. It's not guaranteed, but sometimes after the Quicksilver Slimes escape the Slooow Fields, they remain bunched up allowing for Thunderclap and/or the Electric Clinger to be used very effectively on them. All you have to do is pick a good spot and then make a line of three Slooow Fields and then watch all the Quicksilver Slimes bunch up into the Slooow Fields, so you can feed them INCREDIBLY easily with Spark Shots. If you don't have the Slooow Field at the time, the Thunderclap can be used for this trick due to its AoE properties. This trick is even more effective if you use the Slooow Field, my personal favorite Charge Power. Feed them all, and they'll just keep coming. All you have to do is collect a lot of Spark Shots (60, 90, or 100 will do) and then you have to look behind you and there should be loads of Quicksilver Slimes charging right at you, due to the game mechanic of the Quicksilver Slimes constantly moving forward around the course and never stopping or going backwards. The steps are pretty short, yet VERY effective.

And, I consider myself a little more intelligent than the average 9 year old (my friends and family agree).Īnyways, let's get right into it.

#SLIME RANCHER TIPS UPDATE#
I am literally only 9, and this is my first day playing the new update (it just came out on Xbox One today) however I have already found a good strategy for feeding those pesky Quicksilver Slimes.
